- Barry the Baker is a traditional bakery using a 'steam oven' to bake in the traditional way
- Employing 25 dedicated and experienced staff
- Barry the Baker do not have 'sell by' dates as all of the products have been made freshly today
Our History
- In 1969 husband and wife team Barry and Shirley rented a bakery and shop in Taunton. Buying the business and creating Barry the Baker in 1977
- The business has expanded over the years and is now run by Barry's two sons James and Jason.
- In addition to the two shops, the bakery shop front opened in 1994
- Since the early 90's Barry the Baker has provided a daily sandwich delivery service. Calling on businesses and builders daily with freshly made sandwiches and cakes.
- This service now has five full time delivery vans calling on all parts of Taunton, Bridgwater and Wellington.
Barry the Baker are happy to support local suppliers who have proved to meet the consistantly high quality standards required.
